loud musicpoor soundproofing
the noise became a real issue . music from the pub was quite loud , continuing until late into the night. also , i found the lack of soundproofing made it difficult to relax , especially with pub-goers outside creating a disturbance.

My room had a comfortable king bed and two window seats. The seats provided glimpses of the harbour and fish market. The staff provided early breakfast for my group of five plus a baby. I appreciated this. I was able to store bicycles with the hotel, very convenient for my plans.
The bar area was slightly noisy one evening.

The staff were all friendly and helpful . Breakfast offered a good variety and accommodated dietary preferences well. The room was clean and had a really good shower.
The noise from the pub was noticeable until late at night. Loud music and rowdy people made early sleep difficult.
